Specialized Care for Surgical Oncology
Cancer is not defined by just one disease, but a variety of several different and complex diseases that vary according to the organ of origin and other pathologic features. When Dr. Lyons meets with cancer patients, he expertly guides his patients through each step and decision of the disease process. Dr. Lyons then coordinates his surgical treatments with treatments of other practitioners in order to build a comprehensive team, individualized to the needs of that patient.
A strong treatment team can often times be coordinated locally, allowing patients to receive excellent care in the comfort and proximity of his or her own community. However, if unique or more specialized treatment is required, Dr. Lyons can coordinate the delivery of this treatment in another location.
