Pamela Shriver holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Nursing from the University of South Carolina, in her home state. She joined Pediatric Medical Center in 1994, after working in several other parts of the country. Ms. Shriver is certified by the American Nurses Credential Center, is a breast feeding educator and childcare health consultant. She spearheaded the opening of the KidMed clinic in 2001 and continues to be an integral part of its operation today.
