She earned her registered nursing degree from Our Lady of the Lake School of Nursing in Baton Rouge, La, her bachelor of science in nursing degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, La, and her master of science degree in nursing with a concentration in acute care from University of South Alabama in Mobil.
