September 30, 2011 marks the 100th anniversary of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady's journey to the United States. Today the Sisters, who have spanned the fields of administration, nursing, pastoral care, finance, legal and education, are joined by more than 10,000 colleagues all across Louisiana who are dedicated to continuing the healthcare ministry that began 100 years ago.
