Our Lady of the Lake Physician
Group office hours are by appointment, Monday – Friday. A physician is on
call weekdays and weekends for your medical emergency needs.
MAKING AN APPOINTMENT
(225) 765-5272 for an appointment. Some clinics are open on Saturdays. When your
problem requires prompt attention, you will be scheduled with a provider who has
the first available appointment. As a courtesy, if you cannot make your
appointment or will be late, please call the office as soon as possible.
FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please bring all of your
prescription medications. If this is your first visit, please arrive 10 to 15
minutes early to complete initial paperwork.
Please inform the receptionist at the time of your visit if
you were referred by a physician who is not a member of the Our Lady of
the Lake Physician Group. A report of your consultation will be sent to
the referring physician if requested.
Routine telephone questions and requests
for medication or prescription refills are only taken during regular office
hours. To obtain test results, please ask for your nurse’s voice mail and leave
a message. He/she will get back with you as soon as possible.
Please have your pharmacist call or fax
your physician’s office with your requests. Refills will be called in for enough
medication to last until the next available appointment. Prescriptions for
narcotics will not be refilled without a visit to your physician.
